It was a comfortable victory for Liverpool this afternoon in the pre-season friendly against Bradford City, with a 3-1 win courtesy of two goals from Milner and a tidy finish from Rhian Brewster.
The Reds fielded two different sides in each half, with the performance level arguably dipping slightly after the break as Eoin Doyle converted a penalty for the Bantams.
The penalty was conceded following a sloppy foul from academy left-back Adam Lewis, who impressed against Tranmere on Thursday with his willingness to get forwards and decent delivery, yet not all supporters seemed convinced by the 19-year-old:
It seems way too early to judge a player, especially one so young, after a mistimed tackle in a pre-season friendly; while it was undoubtedly poor, Lewis still has plenty of time to learn.
With Yasser Larouci impressing in the first-half however, it may end up being a tight battle between both youngsters to attempt to deputise for Andy Robertson next season.
