Liverpool thrashed Tranmere Rovers as they visited Prenton Park for the annual pre-season friendly, with one man in particular impressing in the first-half: Rhian Brewster.
The striker put in the perfect poacher’s performance as he scored two goals, showing a natural striker’s instinct with a header and scoring from a parried shot by Milner; he also managed to notch himself an assist as well.
Twitter went into overdrive following Brewster’s performance, with many believing he’s set to play a key role for Klopp in the upcoming campaign:
Klopp has already confirmed that Brewster is set to play a key role this season, and you couldn’t ask for a better start from the 19-year-old.
Should he get game-time next season, he’s sure to take the opportunity.
