Sheyi Ojo appears to have completed a loan move to Rangers, with the 21-year-old pictured arriving at Rangers’ training ground this morning as the Scottish side returned for pre-season, according to a report from The Daily Record today.
The winger would be the third Liverpool man to make the temporary switch from Anfield to Ibrox, with Ojo set to follow in the footsteps of Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria in joining Steven Gerrard’s side.
Ojo had a disappointing loan spell at Stade de Reims last season, making only 18 appearances and failing to score or assist in Ligue 1, with injury struggles also a prominent issue.
It has been rumoured that Ojo would sign a new long-term deal with Liverpool before heading on loan, although this has yet to be confirmed
The report states that Ryan Kent could join Ojo at Rangers for a second loan spell at the club, following an impressive campaign where he picked up the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.
Kent appears to be very keen on a permanent switch to Scotland, although will Liverpool reportedly putting a £12m price-tag on his head, it is unlikely that a transfer would come to fruition; another loan switch remains a possibility.
