Liverpool will sign young PEC Zwolle centre-back Sepp van den Berg, according to Goal journalist Neil Jones on Twitter this evening.
#LFC hoping to complete the signing of 17-year-old centre back Sepp van den Berg from PEC Zwolle. Face competition from Ajax, PSV and Bayern though. He'd be one for the U23s/Academy to start with, if he were to sign.

Van den Berg is clearly highly sought after, with PSV, Ajax and Bayern Munich also keen to acquire his services; in the likelihood the Dutchman joins Liverpool, he would start with the U23s, with a look to moving up to the first-team in the upcoming years.
The 17-year-old made 20 appearances for Zwolle last season, including 15 in the Eredivisie, and with such experience at a young age, it is unsurprising to see the likes of Liverpool and Bayern fighting over his signature.
With his compatriot Virgil Van Dijk already at Anfield, along with the likes of Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, van den Berg will be hoping to fulfil his huge potential on Merseyside.
