Ojo follows in the footsteps of Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria by making the temporary move from Liverpool to link up with Steven Gerrard at Ibrox, with Kent enjoying great success last season where he won the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.

Ojo will be hoping to emulate Kent’s success, after the 21-year-old endured a disappointing loan spell at Stade de Reims last season, where he failed to score or register an assist in 15 league appearances.

The move to Glasgow marks the fourth stint away from Liverpool for Ojo, with the Englishman enjoying previous loan spells with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and Stade de Reims.

Having failed to make an appearance for Liverpool since an FA Cup match against Plymouth Argyle in January 2017, and not featuring in the Premier League since the end of the 15/16 season, Ojo has to hope a move to join Gerrard will help reignite any hope he has of forging a career at Anfield.
