This piece of news will come as a big concern for Liverpool fans, with a massive Champions League clash tomorrow and also a trip to Old Trafford at the weekend.

It has also been reported that defender Dejan Lovren was also missing from training today. It seems that he has been unable to recover from his hamstring injury in time.
This almost certainly means that Fabinho will partner Joel Matip in the centre of the backline with Virgil Van Dijk suspended for the game.
In more positive news, Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri is now back in full training with the possibility of staking a place in Jurgen Klopp’s team tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also took part, but hasn’t returned to full training with his teammates just yet.
