West Ham put in a gutsy display yesterday to defeat Arsenal and continue their surge up the Premier League table; although there were plenty of fine individual performances, one man in particular caught the eye of Liverpool fans on social media: Felipe Anderson.
The Brazilian ace was once again in fine fettle against the Gunners, leaving Matteo Guendouzi struggling to keep up with him. His work rate also didn’t go unnoticed, with Anderson frequently tracking back to help out the team — something that would be greatly appreciated in Klopp’s setup.
Liverpool fans were suitably impressed by Anderson’s performance and took to Twitter to sing the praises of the former Lazio man:
Things I would do to see Felipe Anderson in a Liverpool shirt. Guys a baller

I would love to see Felipe Anderson at Liverpool. Whether in the CM or AM position, he would flourish under the current conditions. #LFC

Wouldn’t mind a cheeky bid for Felipe Anderson in the summer. Mané needs competition and I’m sure Anderson would provide that and more. Also being Brazilian he’d fit in nicely.

Anderson has been a revelation since joining West Ham from Lazio in a £42m deal this summer and with 8 goals already this term, it’s clear to see why fans want him to bolster Klopp’s attacking options in the summer.
Skilful, unbelievably quick and technically profound, Anderson would certainly keep Mane on his toes and the opportunity to link up with the Brazilian contingent at Anfield may be hard to resist.
There’s only one potential stumbling block: the fee. Having joined for a deal reaching up to £42m, West Ham will want to recoup that fee and then some if they sell him, especially to a league rival; you could be looking for a price of around £60-70m to obtain his services.
