Spanish journalist Jose David Lopez sent Liverpool fans into a frenzy on Twitter this afternoon when he effectively confirmed that Christian Pulisic has an agreement to join Liverpool.
Al Liverpool, Pulisic ya lo tiene cerrado el Liverpool.

Responding to a report from Carrusel Deportivo that there was no chance of Pulisic being involved in a deal with a La Liga team because it’d had already been agreed to sell him to an English club for next season, Lopez stated that the deal was “to Liverpool, Pulisic has already had it closed to Liverpool”.
Whether this is merely speculation from Lopez or based on knowledge is anyone’s guess but with the recent update that both Chelsea and Manchester United are also set to go hard for his signature in the summer, it certainly is a positive update if he has decided to join the Reds.
A £70m deal has been rumoured extensively in recent weeks and with Klopp a huge admirer of the Borussia Dortmund starlet, it would come as little surprise if he’d already conversed with his former team to bring the USA international to Anfield.
With his contract set to expire in the summer of 2020 and with Pulisic reportedly desperate to play in the Premier League, Dortmund chiefs are keen to cash in on him in the summer in order to prevent him leaving for nothing the following year.
With the 20-year-old keen to reunite with Klopp and a highly talented winger in his own right, it seems highly likely that Pulisic will end up at Liverpool in the near future.
