Liverpool came from behind to beat Burnley 3-1 at Turf Moor this evening with a heavily rotated lineup and retain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season; although the display was far from convincing, fans were unanimous in their support for one man after his display: Naby Keita.
Keita was in tremendous form against the Clarets, providing guile and energy in midfield, while he also attempted to drive the team forward in an attacking sense — something which has often been a rarity at times this season. He was also unlucky not to have scored after an excellent fizzing strike from 25 yards was tipped onto the post by Joe Hart and fans were full of praise for the midfielder on Twitter:
Excellent performance from Keïta so far. Best player on the pitch. Probably the only positive.

Watching Naby Keïta doing Naby Keïta things in a Liverpool shirt is amazing.

Keita is having an absolute barnstormer. Joe Hart just saved him from scoring a genuine worldy with his left foot. Naby has arrived, Reds.

Keita’s career at Anfield has stalled ever since his fantastic performance against West Ham on the opening day but tonight reminded fans exactly why Klopp was so keen to bring the Guinean to Liverpool.
Let’s just hope he gets an extended stay in the side from now on — preferably alongside Fabinho.
