Paul Joyce of The Times has revealed the expected Liverpool XI to face PSG in the Champions League this evening, with Klopp making one change from the side that beat PSG at Anfield back in September.
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane
Daniel Sturridge is the only one set to miss out from the team that bested PSG 3-2 earlier in the season, with Roberto Firmino, who scored the dramatic late winner from the bench that day unsurprisingly set to start from the get-go.
Fans may be disappointed to see Klopp reverted back to the trio of Henderson, Wijnaldum and Milner in midfield, yet with the solidity the three provide, it is understandable why he’s favoured his usual midfield three in Europe.
Joyce has also predicted the probable XI of the hosts, with the legendary Gianluigi Buffon set to start after missing the previous clash through suspension, while Neymar and Mbappe have also both been ruled fit to play.
With qualification to the knockout stages ensured with a victory, three points would be monumental; it doesn’t appear as if Klopp is willing to settle for a draw either.
