Liverpool fans were full of praise for Andrew Robertson today after his performance against Fulham, with his pinpoint accuracy for the cross that led to the second goal earning much acclaim.
Although always a steady hand, like the majority of the team, Robbo has been marred by inconsistency recently but reminded everyone today why he is regarded as one of the best in the league in his position.
Excellent going forward, solid defensively and with crossing accuracy which leaves the Kop salivating, Robertson was in top form, with fans quick to react to his display on his Twitter.
Andrew Robertson is the best left-back in the League. No doubt anymore.

Andy Robertson would make the Kessel Run in 8 parsecs.

Not sure I’ve seen more, if any, Liverpool players cross a ball better than Robertson. Scottish gold. https://t.co/jvxBD3T2T1

His delightful assist made it 6 in all competitions this season, higher than any other player in the league and it begs the question as to why he doesn’t take corners when his delivery is so outstanding.
Having had Alberto Moreno, Jose Enrique, Jon Flanagan and (sorry to remind you) Aly Cissokho at left-back in recent times, it’s refreshing to finally see a left-back fans can get behind and be one of the best in his position.
With rumours of a richly deserved new contract today from The Mirror, with Scotland’s captain set to earn a new 5 year deal that will double his wages to £60,000 a week, hopefully we’ll see Robertson in the side for years to come.
