Liverpool have officially announced a partnership with Lavazza Group, who will be the brand new coffee partner of the club throughout the United Kingdom, which the club confirmed on the official website.
Lavazza, who have signed a multi-deal year with Liverpool, will benefit by being the exclusive coffee provider to Anfield, having the opportunity to serve 54,000 supporters at the stadium their coffee on matchdays, while the brand will be shown through pitch side LEDs.
When announcing the new partnership, managing director and chief commercial officer at Liverpool, Billy Hogan, stated that “Lavazza is synonymous with excellence, tradition and passion for its coffee, in the same way that we are with football, so it’s a pleasure to be welcoming them to the Liverpool FC family.”
Lavazza were also seemingly pleased about the deal; managing director David Rogers commented “how proud we [Lavezza UK] are to be further strengthening our presence in the United Kingdom through new partnerships with one of English football’s greatest teams.”
The deal will officially kickstart on November 1st, where all Lavazza products will be readily available in hospitality boxes and bars at Anfield, while an advertising campaign starring Dejan Lovren, Daniel Sturridge and Virgil Van Dijk will also begin on the day.
