Jürgen Klopp has ruled out Naby Keita to face Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Guinean international sufferered a hamstring tear as his side took on Rwanda and had to be carried off by his own teammate.
Meanwhile, Klopp didn’t rule out any of his other players.
Klopp: “Yesterday we had a session and a few of the boys trained. I think it’s pretty sure that Naby will not be available. With the rest, we have to see.”
Sadio Mane is still a doubt to start but could be in the matchday squad.
Van Dijk has been playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks, but Klopp had a positive update on the Dutchman.
Klopp: “Football players play very often with some kind of pain. He has no problems with that (his ribs) any more.”
Salah and Milner are both in contention to start.
