Brazil boss Tite has opened up on why Brazil fell short at the World Cup, admitting that he had made a mistake in his handling of Firmino.
The Liverpool man scored 27 goals and assisted 17 times in all competitions, but was overlooked by Gabriel Jesus.
The Manchester City striker started EVERY game at the World Cup, leading to a lot of backlash for his lack of faith in Firmino.
Why the hell isnt firmino starting for this brazil?

However, in reaction to Brazil’s two-nil victory against the United States on Saturday, Tite admitted he was wrong to do so.
Tite: “Roberto Firmino and Douglas Costa deserved more chances.”
There is no doubt that Gabriel Jesus is the future of Brazil considering he is 21 years old, but Firmino at present is worthy of his chance. Hopefully he is no longer overlooked as much in future.
