Liverpool new boy Fabinho is set to start from the bench as Liverpool take on West Ham on Sunday, according to Paul Joyce of The Times.
The 25-year old has been hampered with illness and still needs to be assessed ahead of West Ham.
His Brazilian compatriot, Alisson Becker, will make his Premier League debut.
Naby Keita is also set to start versus West Ham whilst Xherdan Shaqiri is set to take his place on the Liverpool bench alongside Daniel Sturridge.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has been boosted by the news that James Milner should be ready to play against West Ham following a nasty head clash in Dublin.
Klopp has a decision to make at left-back after Alberto Moreno’s solid pre-season form. However, the manager admits he cannot forget the impact Andrew Robertson had last season.
“Both could play immediately; that is the good news,” said Klopp.
“I don’t ignore how Robbo played [last season]. I am not silly. But I cannot say that is the only thing.”
Expected Liverpool XI to face West Ham:
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk; Robertson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Mane; Salah, Firmino
