Sadio Mane has admitted he is happy at Liverpool but wouldn’t rule out an exit in the future.
The Senegalese international has been in top form again this season, scoring 20 goals and assisting 8 times in all competitions.
According to France Football, Mane had a deal in place to join Real Madrid before Zinedine Zidane resigned.
However, these reports are very premature and Mane has been quick to put the record straight.
“I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years.”
Despite that, the 26-year-old hasn’t committed his long term future at the club and said he couldn’t rule out an exit in the future.
“But you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League.”
Liverpool are keen to reward Sadio Mane, as well as Mo Salah, with a new contract as they attempt to tie down the long term futures of their most prized assets.
