As reported by Paul Joyce from The Times and Melissa Reddy from JOE, French attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir has signed a long-term deal with Liverpool football club.
Michael Edwards’ negotiation team have all but wrapped up the deal in Paris today, and it is expected to be announced official tomorrow (Friday).
This is Liverpool’s third summer acquisition. Having already signed Naby Keita from last year, and adding AC Monaco’s Fabinho in the team, it shows a real sign of intent.
The fee is expected to be £48.4 million up front, with potential £4.4 million in additional bonuses.
Nabil Fekir, 24, has had a brilliant 2017/18 campaign, scoring 24 and assisting 9 goals in all competitions.
