Many Liverpool fans have been worried about the conditions of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane leading up to the Champions League final after discovering the pair will be taking part in Ramadan as the Reds’ build up to their crucial encounter with Real Madrid.
But don’t worry Liverpool fans! Mane and Salah are in good company and will be taken good care of in order to fulfil their needs.
This year, Ramadan began on 16th May 2018 and will end on 14th June 2018. Every day marks a different time scale that a person participating in Ramadan can consume food and drink.
For example, on 26th May – the day of the Champions League final – Muslims taking part will be permitted to eat at 21:04pm.
However, do not waver Liverpool fans. The Champions League final may be set to kick-off at 19:45pm UK time but, the final is scheduled to kick-off at 21:45pm in Kyiv, Ukraine. Salah and Mane will be able to eat and drink by this point, keeping them hydrated and prepared for the game.
Also, just like last season, Liverpool have constructed a prayer room and arranged for a special Chef to accommodate the needs of Salah, Mane and also Emre Can.
Emre Can is a doubt for the Champions League final. However, hope is still held by Jurgen Klopp that the German could have the slightest chance to feature.
