AC Milan shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma has dismissed a move to Liverpool much to the frustration of his agent Mino Raiola, according to a report published by Corriere dello Sport.
The 19-year-old keeper has constantly been linked with a move away from the San Siro, despite signing a contract extension less than 12 months ago.
Over the course of the season, Donnarumma’s relationship with the Milan fan base has soured and Raiola has raised concerns about the club’s ownership structure and the behaviour of the supporters.
The report goes on to suggest that Liverpool were prepared to pay up to €60m to bring the teenager to Anfield this summer, but all negotiations were quickly rejected by the Italian keeper.
It is believed that the youngster’s lack of willingness to even consider a switch to Merseyside angered Raiola, who also represents Manchester United players Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.
Donnarumma reportedly wants to stay at his boyhood club despite the turbulent relationship between him and the fans, much to the displeasure of his agent.
