Liverpool are reportedly interested in the Dutch Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes and recent reports suggest that Klopp is ready to make a £20 million bid in January.
Klopp is said to be a long term admirer of Quincy Promes according to Dave Maddock with the decision to buy perhaps now being tipped by the departure of Sadio Mane to the African Cup of Nations and injury to star wide man Philippe Coutinho.
Spartak Moscow are said to value the winger at around £20-25 million which is well within the budget of owners FSG whilst the availability of Promes appears to be greater since Spartak have signed what appears to be his replacement.
Promes has 5 goals and 7 assists so far in Russia after 13 league games. The winger is 24 and would provide a long term option hence fitting into the club’s transfer model.
Should the deal not happen Christian Pulisic is seen as an alternative, however Promes seems the far more likely option for Liverpool this January.
