Out-of-favour Liverpool striker Christian Benteke has been told that he has little to no future at the club.

According to the Mirror, Benteke is open to talks with Crystal Palace, who are now looking elsewhere following their failed attempt at signing Michy Batshuayi. Palace are said to be willing to pay £140k a week for the Belgian target man which will match his wages at Liverpool.

Liverpool have announced the departure of striker Jerome Sinclair to Watford.

The 19-year old was out of contract at Anfield, given the age of Sinclair as he is under 24, his registration would have been subject to compensation in the form of a development fee, but Watford and Liverpool have come to an agreement regarding the transfer. The Echo believe this to be £4 million.

Piotr Zielinski is expected to complete his transfer to Liverpool.

According to the Echo, the Polish midfielder is set to join Liverpool now that his international commitments are over, as Poland were knocked out of Euro 2016.
