Liverpool u21s midfielder Daniel Trickett-Smith has left the club, joining United Soccer League side Sacramento Republic.
Trickett-Smith joined the Reds in 2012 from Crewe Alexandra and has been a regular member of Michael Beale’s U21s squad for the past two seasons.
Trickett-Smith appeared in 19 matches with the Liverpool FC U21 team after joining the Liverpool FC Youth Academy in 2012. The forward scored two goals with the Liverpool FC U21s. Trickett-Smith helped the club go a combined 32-23-10 in the three years he was a member of the squad, including a U21 Premier League Knockout Stage Semifinal appearance in the 2013-14 season.

“He is someone that I have seen play, I have seen train and he is a very, very talented player. He can create and score goals and we really hope that he settles in quickly and shows Republic FC fans what a great player he is.”
Trickett-Smith could make a debut for his new team at Bonney Field in California on Saturday night.
